DUROLLE EMBALLAGE - Producers
The 1st January 1989, Frédéric BIARD headed up the company Ollier Bostmembrun in la Monnerie, Puy-de-Dôme, France. At this time, the company employed 5 persons and had a turnover of 140 000 € while producing boxes for cutlery.
Today the company is called Durolle Emballages and employs 12 persons. Its turnover has recently reach 1 million €. At the beginning, the 1st investment was for thermoforming. Then, to enlarge their offer, the society bought the material to laminate and fold edges of cardboard.
In 2005, Durolle Emballages merged with Goyon Chevalerias (presentation boxes). Thanks to this merge, the products ranges grew up, as for the machinery equipment, workforce and customers.
AMPLITUDE - Designers
AMPLITUDE is a Creation Agency based in Thiers and Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme, France) which has many specialities as web design, advertising, and design. Frédéric VIAL is in charge of Design. He has been working for 6 months to define cardboard furniture with its industrial, ergonomic and esthetical backgrounds.
OCTOLYS - Marketing and website development
Octolys is a company specialized in I.T. development, especially in e-commerce websites. Octolys is also based in Clermont-Ferrand.
Orika!
In 2005 Durolle Emballages, Amplitude and Octolys decided to associate their know how in order to create cardboard furniture under the trademark Orika! The range was successfully launched at the 2005 Heavent show in Paris.
2008 - Due to an increasing number of foreign requests we have recently created an Export Department.
